Is there a simple way to use MP3 files as background music on a web page? I don't want any external player to pop up or something like that.

Sometimes the Answer You Are LOOKING for can be FOUND BY SEARCHING THE FAQ'S @&%$*#!!!

I advice not to put ANY bg music, whether flash or not. You will just drive your visitors away. My list of sites to avoid with obnoxious bg music has grown over the years.

I agree with WizyWyg's comments, unless this is just someone trying to apply a sound theme to a personal site where no clients will object....

Try this:

<embed src=&quot;soundfile.mp3&quot; hidden=&quot;false&quot; border=&quot;0&quot; width=&quot;310&quot; height=&quot;45&quot; autostart=&quot;true&quot; autoplay=&quot;true&quot; loop=&quot;true&quot; volume=&quot;75%&quot;>
