PTmon, I assume it's OK with you if I take your ribbon image and put it on my signiture for these forums. How do I do that?

Thanks! Calista,

I don't have the image for you, but I will tell you how to add a signature file to these forums.

First, on the top-left corner of tek-tips, you will see a link to Personal Profile. Click it.

Next scroll down your personal profile until you get to the signature portion and then you may add any text to it, or an image by using TGML.

Thanks! I looked into that, and it looks like I have to host the image on my website, but it is an intranet only with no access outside. So, I guess that means I can't do that. Oh, well. Thanks, anyway. Calista,

hey calista,
i am working on my web site where web authors will be able to publish their work. the idea is for the web artists to be recognized as authors and all informations to be available following the published work; for right now, it is possible to publish image or audio file

the site is still in testing phase, but the shell is here and usable; what you can do is publish the image that you want to use as signature at the forums, then use that url to add image to your signature; you can get the image url if you preview you published image, right click on it and select properties. you will see the full url of the image you want to use

the site is

I am not advertising this site here. Like I have said, it is still in the testing phase. In fact, I would appriciate if you people would take a look and give me your critiques.
The whole site is coldfusion web application that i have build from scratch (by the way, it is my first project, so bare with me)

Thanks, WWebSpider! Great idea! Very nice site, BTW. I never would have thought this was your first effort. I am building an intranet from the ground up, so I know how it goes. This is my first Web project. I'm rather proud of it, I wish I could show it to you. It's not as nice as yours, but it's functional. My earlier programming training was (dare I say it?) COBOL! I find the principles of structured programming still apply to web pages, so it wasn't totally wasted. Enough rambling for now, I'd better get back to work.

Oh, yeah, one more thing, that photo you have on your home page is, IHO, one of the most inspiring images of the week.

Happy coding! Calista :-X
