Use grid in Tk

Hello, I installed the release Tk800.022 on my unix station.

I can use the layout PACK, but I can't use GRID or PLACE.

Can someone tell me why ?

I don't usually use GRID, but I'd be willing to take a look if you post a little (small amount) of code. [sig]<p> <br><a href=mailto: > </a><br><a href= > </a><br> keep the rudder amid ship and beware the odd typo[/sig]
