My client purchased CCR Agent licenses and placed them on the PBX for their call center. Now the call center is being removed in favor of callers at each office location. Is it possible to use the extensions from the call center PBX on the local office PBXs without moving them? The idea being that they don't want to pay for more CCR Agent licenses since they already have them.

The short answer is No.
However, if you have IP Phones and/or Remote Workers that are registered to the system that has the actual CCR Agent Licenses then they can be an Agent.

However, you cannot be a registered user on another system and belong as an Agent.

Now, if you have SCN setup you could have a remote hunt group or a user from another system belong to a hunt group but you will not get any CCR Supervisor or Agent Capabilities or Reporting.

RodneyMcSnow, I've tried a test extension using a Remote Worker license. I'll see if it captures any CCR data.

joe2938, I've never known a BP to switch licenses for free. Typically, you have to buy new licenses. Hell, once they gave me the wrong licenses and I still had to pay half price for the right ones!

Dont forget to check the CCR AGENT box in the USER>Telephony>Supervisor Settings TAB.

By the way, Avaya WILL NOT move Licenses from one system to another, not going to happen. You have to buy new license(s) abd be running Preferred or Advanced Edition with CCR Option.

Even if the cust was prepared to go through the agro of moving licences (which would require replacing SD Cards) i is not that simple

They would need CCR servers at each individual site, CCR does not support multiple systems (or even distributed groups)

Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear

Well, I thought I had this licked, but I seem to be having an issue with getting the Remote Worker to function on the same network as the local PBX. Even though the remote PBX been entered in the phone's settings, the phone is still pointing to the local PBX. Do I need to set something on the phone to ignore the local PBX?
