Usb-unknown device???

I have installed a Kensington Video Cam. When I first plug it into the Usb it comes up unknown device. I have used the cd to install the drivers for this device but, no go. It has it listed under usb controllers in my device manager (I use Win 98 se) tried clicking on have disk and it just tells me that it is not the right info for my device. Any suggestions would be really really helpful!

is it giving you the option of using the drivers?.. or saying that there is no driver there....if windows is saying that the driver is not correct and you know it is then force it to use it...if it is not allowing you to install the driver at all then we may have to dig alittle deeper
