Thought just came to me - whenever I put together a new system, I hook up the front usb ports on the case, and all the warnings on the motherboard documents say if the wires are connected improperly they could damage usb devices - so, is there possibly any devices available that could just quick plug into a usb port & do a check if the wires are all properly connected without risk of any damage? I think this would be something useful for me to have laying around.
