Hi all,

Strange question from left field - we are running IP softphone 4 with Plantronic DSP-100 USB headsets.

Has anyone heard of a way that this can be connected with some adaptor, connection or software, that we could have a "trainer" sit beside them and listen into the conversation.

This has been asked by our training department and as yet we cannot come up with an answer.

Thanks all,

rjblanch.

Thanks for the notification NX01. The only issue that I currently have is the client that we wish to set this up for is strictly by the book, No Certification or documentation then it is not to be used. If we use a piece of software or something that doesnt really connect the headset to the PC (ie breakout box, amplifier thats approved etc...) then that is okay, but a straight through adaptor then thats a different story.

If Avaya can provide me with something stating that this is acceptable, then I can pass it on. Otherwise, it is a no go....(we were looking at the Plantronics DA60 for the same type of thing).

hi,

we use from plantronics the P/N 27019-01 KIT,Y-Adapter Trainer .... it works fine with IP-Softphone ...

With best regards
