USB boot-up issue

When I boot up my system, I get the message "USB device over current detected!!!" Please remove over-current USB device!!! Then it shuts down. Any help would be appreciated.

M2NPV-VM motherboard
AMD Athlon 64 3800+
Corsair DDR2 1024MB
 
Yes. There are no external USB deviced attached and I removed any internal connections to the front USB ports.
 
Because the USB spec calls for a max current draw from any one device, a sense device is utilized to indicate an over draw condition. You'll either have a shorted power bus, or the sensing device is kaput.
