Is there the limit on the URL address string length in MS IE 5.0 and 5.1?

Not really, Mike!
It's for the program based on WestWind class, and it's in VFP 7.0.

Ever tried to write a program for Internet in VFP?

It depends what you are doing with the address. Are storing it in a variable (which would have a limit of 254 characters). But wouldn't you be better posting your question directly on the messageboard of West-wind? Mike Gagnon
