Hello,

We have a Win2K domain with 3 DCs having SP3. This morning some of the users with Win98 are having a strange login problem. The error message says "The share name was not be found. Be sure you typed it correctly." I've never seen this before. Any ideas, it's very urgent.

You may verify:

1- The DC holding the Global Catalog is working properly?
2- Your WINS Server is working properly?
3- Your clients have a well configured IP Address? Use ipconfig to ensure that the machines have the proper IP address.

You must ensure that these 3 things are working properly, otherwise your clients will be unable to log in to the network.
