Hi all.

PHP seems to have stopped working on our webserver. For some reason, whenever a .php page is requested, a 404.2 error keeps occuring saying:

"HTTP Error 404.2 - File or directory not found: Lockdown policy prevents this request."

We have just recently made modifications to the IIS6 installation, such as moving the websites to a second hard disk (away from the folder) and this started heppening right away. I have a feeling this is to do with the new lock-down features of IIS and the websites not being in the folder, but have no idea of how to get PHP serving pages again.

Also, we can not move to Apache and I would really like to be able to keep my websites on a different partition if it is allowed by Microsoft.

Steve.

Not entirely sure about IIS 6, but for IIS 5 when you right click a folder, you have sharing an web sharing options, in web sharing the permissions must allow execution for phppages..

you could also try posting this on the IIS forum found here : forum41
