Hi All,
I am in the unfortunate situation where someone has fabricated an EMail which appears to have been sent by me to another colleague some time ago. We use Outlook Express under Win 98 on our PC's along with a program called Mailgate on a PC dedicated to being an EMail server (just a normal PC with Mailgate loaded on it). I think what they have done is changed the date on my PC, the Mailgate PC and the message recipient's PC, then composed the message on my PC and sent it to my colleague. The dates have then all been reset back to now. The result is that it appears that I have sent a message to my colleague a few months ago. My question is, is there anything anywhere that could prove that the message was actually sent recently, rather than a few months ago. When I look at the message and its properties, it all looks as if it was sent months ago. Is there anything buried in Outlook Express messages that would enable me to prove that the message was actually sent recently??
Many thanks
