Upsizing to SQL - newbie simple question

If I upsize my Access 2002 database to SQL, will I have to create an ODBC connection to the SQL database on every computer that uses the database in order for people to access it? I have about 100 people who use it and have already had some corruption in Access. Sorry if this is a stupid question.

You don't need to use ODBC. You do however have to allow all users to link to the database but that's fairly painless under modern Windows.

Thanks! I'm not sure I know how to do that. When I upsized the database, I linked the b/e SQL tables to the f/e Access DB through an ODBC connector. Is there another way to do this? Now when someone accesses the f/e from another machine they get an "ODBC - call failed" error. Many thanks for your help.

Figured it out, I had to choose the Link SQL tables option in the wizard.
Thanks for the help.
