Upload textbox

Hi all!

I am having a upload option in a webpage.
If some one doesn't choose the browse button and type some file name in the upload box....is there any way ..i can prevent user not to type any thing on the upload box .

is there any thing i can do in the perl script to validate that,,,Hope i conveyed my query ...

any help will be more appriciated

If I am correct, you essentially want to check if the value entered/chosen is a valid file or not ..right?
