Is it possible to upload an audio file to audix ?

We would like to have the welcomingmessage of a number of users recorded by a professional voice and then upload it to Audix.
Our servicecontractor says it cannot be done.

I say it's linux and there's probably a wav file with a certain format somewhere on the system.....

Thoughts, anyone ?

Another way would be to play the audio from the PC-speaker and record it using the phone-handset...

Okay, so I found the place where the messages are stored (/voice1).
Only thing is I cannot locate the exact box without trying them all because the folders the messages are in are all called vmXXX.

Apparently there's a database that links the actual extension number to the VMXXX folder in /voice1.

Actual system announcements appear to be in /voice1/annc/(language)/frag_voice

Files have no extension, but Audacity says Mono 8000 KHz 32 bit float.

system files unfortunately read-only for my useraccount.
Will try to hack a VMbox, seen if I can upload a file and have it played properly....
