Do you guys know of any site that allows you to upload files for free.

I have a site that uploads pics...

But

I want to know if anybody out there has one that allows you to upload MS Office documents like Word, RTF, Excel, or even music or video.

Any link would help...

Sure, Yahoo has a service called "Briefcase". 30mb for free.

Hi,

If you need to put a file on the net to let somebody else get to it, why not put it on personal web space, then download it and delete it afterwards?

John

But I'm looking for a free way?

The websites that I have seen are pay for..and I have to pay for the server space and the name..

I just need to do this for only a few times..

What he is refering to is the free space you get from your ISP. While I never use mine, my Roadrunner account gives me free space.

The fix for RR is simple. I went through the same problem when a client was attempting to set up email accounts for their children. Unfortunately they did not know their user account, nor their passwd. For some reason either the technician doing the install did not leave the receipt.
My solution was that I called RR, explained the situation, Identified myself using the Credit card number of the client and told them they could either give me the info, or I would be closing this account and reopening a new one.
They gave me the info needed to go into the master account and create the separate user accounts for the children.

Great Idea...
