Upgrading

Hi,

We will be upgrading our server to Windows2k and Exchange2k fairly soon.

This raises the question... how do I migrate all the emails from the old system to the new?

We currently only operate the 1 Exchange server (and 1 NT4 PDC (gordon) + 1 BDC (thomas)). We will be completly reformating the main server (gordon) when upgrading Windows.

I was thinking that if I installed Exchange 2k on thomas then all the emails would be replicated to it. Is this correct? How reliable is it? Is there a better way?

Dude - you need a windows 2000 domain first.
