Upgrading M3904 firmware 2

I am trying to upgrade a batch of M3904 sets. I have used LD 97 to set FDL to all. When I use LD 32 FDLS, the system says "Building Tree" and nothing else ever happens. After and hour I have stopped the process and run FSUM. Noting has changed. Any suggestions on how to run a conditional download?

try doing the upgrade on one set to see if it works.

The upgrade both FDLI and FDLF work on any single set.
I expect this to be a "user" problem, oops, I am the user.

Here is an instruction I made up for my customer to schedule a download. We schedule the download either before or after the midnight routines and after hours so we don't tie up the loads and possibly slow processing. Maybe it will help.

This is an example of a scheduled download of (5) 3904 sets with TN’s of 52-0-11-0 through 52-0-11-4.
One interval is scheduled to take place on Thursday at 3:00am for a maximum time of 2 hours

FDAY 5 1 – FDAY d n Day and number of time intervals for download (if you said yes to FDTM)
d= (0-6) Day of the week, Sunday to Saturday
n= (0-4) Number of intervals where 0= no download for that day
note: If two or more intervals are specified, they must be non overlapping,
non consecutive and in increasing order.
FDAY is re-prompted until <cr> is entered.

FINT 3 2 – FINT s l Starting hour and length for a time interval.
s= (0-23) Starting hour using 24 hour format
l= (1-24) Length of interval in hours
FINT is prompted n times if Number of Intervals is > 0

FDAY <cr> -- FDAY is re-prompted until <cr> is entered.

FTNR yes – Say yes to download to specific range of TNs, Do not say no to this or all 3904’s will download

FSTN 52 0 11 0 – Loop, Card, Shelf, Unit Starting terminal number for download

FETN 52 0 11 4 – Loop, Card, Shelf, Unit Ending terminal number for download

FDNR no – enter no because we don’t want to select specific DN’s for download.

FRCE yes – Say yes to force the download regardless of the 3904’s current flash firmware version.

I will try the scheduled method you have outlined.
I thought I was doing an immediate, all. I got the Building Tree, Starting now, responses, but nothing happened. Even on a manual FDLI sets have either not completed or when I have checked later they come up software 0000 and I had to repeat the process.
