OpenServer 6 is quite a different animal, but it is SCO's future.
An upgrade from 5.0.6 to 5.0.7 is likely less painful than an upgrade from 5.0.6 to 6.0.0. But, if you plan to stick with SCO for the forseable future, you will need to embrace the new environment eventually.
Just for the record, there is no "upgrade" process to move an existing system from 5.0.x to 6.0.0. You will have to load 6.0.0 fresh, re-install your applications, and restore DATA. You can still migrate the user accounts and passwords if you wish.
Because 6.0.0 is running a different environment, make sure your application is compatible. I've found a few instances where we needed to upgrade an application as well.
