upgrading from 4.5 to 5.1

Hello:

I just want to verify something. I am under the impression, I can upgrade our netbackup 4.5 to 5.1 without first upgrading to version 5.0? I am running 4.5 on an solaris box currently and in the process of looking at upgrading the software.

Hi,

Haven't done this on a solaris box but did this on windows 2003 server without any problems. I remember i was actually impressed that it worked

I actually just found the document I been searching for, and the answer was yea, I was just questioning because it seemed like a 2 version jump, and I had orginally planned on going to 5.0 then 5.1.
