Upgrading Firmware on G430 Media Gateway & S8300 Media Server

download the firmware from Avaya support site.
Upload the firmware to the s8300 and then copy the firmware from the pub folder to tftpboot
Then do :
show image version
show boot bank – you upgrade the one which isn’t active
copy tftp SW_imageA xxxxxxxx.bin xx.xx.xx.xx (LSP IP address)
There is a document called g450 cli commands which will go into it in more detail.
