Upgraded from ME to 2k and outlook wont work

Hey all

I upgraded my girlfriends computer from windows ME to windows 2000, I reinstalled everything. nothing i haven't done a hundred times. installed the drivers and office XP.

However when i try to import the outlook.pst file that was on ME, or just copy it in place of the one that is there. It says that i do not have permission to access this file. I do not understand because i have not turned on NTFS yet. and i don't know how else to adjust security this.

Any help is greatly appreciated ... i've yet to tell my g/f she's lost all her saved emails :

Ok, problem solved... It had nothing to do with the upgrade. When i burned the pst file to cd for backup. It automaticly converted it to a read-only VIA the properties. I didn't think to look there because i never set it there.
