I have a Dell PowerEdge 2300/450 running a Perc2 Raid Controller. When I start the upgrade I get an error that Windows 2000 installation can not preceed because the Perc2 controller is not compatible with Windows 2000. I need to upgrade the driver before contining. How do I update the driver under NT 4.0 server to a Windows 2000 drivers?

Thanks in advance for anyone's help in this matter.

Have you tried installing the latest NT4 drivers for it?

You can try downloading and installing W2K drivers for it, but NT may not like them.

Is the RAID controller supported by Windows 2000? [auto] MCSE NT4/W2K

I followed the instructions found on the Dell site. When I go to upgrade the firmware (boot to a floppy) it doesn't see the controller. In the utility it should show my controller so I can select it and update it. Does anyone know what could cuase this and how to fix it?

Thank you
