UPgrade to r9.1

Just upgraded my secondary server from R8.1 to R9.1 but it wont pull its license from the primary? Primary is still on 8.1. Licenses are valid on the primary.

You should upgrade the primary server first, then the secondary and gateways, that's the correct procedure.

I would go on with upgrading primary server. If you have enough upgrade licenses available on primary

You should upgrade the primary first at all times!
Then from the primary upgrade the secondary and expansion systems.
Never ever do it different as it causes major issues.

Thanks guys I updated the primary and all was well. Funny thing is now in 9.1 I don't have incoming call routes under solution anymore. I have options for incoming call routes under the Primary, secondary and expansions. This that right? Consolidate solution to primary is checked on manager preferences.

Yes. They changed it to have the ICR at the system where the corresponding trunk is located.

Which makes much more sense and is easier to maintain.

But outbound dialing would be nicer to have solution wide with automatically routing the calls over different nodes to one line or to different lines on several systems if the have the same line group.
