I am trying to upgrade our SQL 6.5 server to 2000 by using the upgrade wizard and it is coming up with an error that tempdb needs to be 10MB in size.
So, I am trying to make tempdb 10MB but cannot find how to go about this.

It is currently 2MB and I have tried using the Alter Database command but although when entering tempdb it says it has a data size of 2MB it does not have a data device.

Please help......Grimmy

Have you downloaded the document "How to Upgrade SQL Server 6.5 and 7.0 to SQL Server 2000." It contains instructions about setting the tempdb size.
