yes avaya will tell you, the software releases of vm pro and the control unit are made to work together

Upgrade VM Pro yes, CCC needs replacing with CCR (or a third party product called Chronicall ideally) as it is no longer supported, you may also have other knock on effects if using IP phones too, best to discuss with an expert really
