Upgrade IPO412 to Version 3

I am very new to IP office but have been asked to upgrade the IPO in our office to version 3.

I have been told I can download the software from Avaya's site but am not sure what I'm looking for

Is this software is available online or do we have to purchase it?

So far all of the IP Office software/firmware has been free. If you go to support.avaya.com then click on "IP Office", that should get you going in the right direction.

To upgrade the ip office you will only need the bin-files. But it is recommended that you download all cd's Administrator (bin-files, manager, voicemail-lite, ect) and User cd (phone manager, softconsole, ect.)from the same release month.
And ugrade the ip office and all software applications that you are running. To prevent any strange bugs to happen.

Note that you also read the release notes that are reffered to with the download. So that you upgrade the ip office correct. This is because if you are upgrading from some software levels you also need to upgrade the bootloader.
