We have a Novell 5.01 Server with 2 --18 GB hard disk in a RAID 0 setup. WE want to upgrade he hard disk to 2 --72 GB. What is the best approach. Can we Clone it with Ghost. Also let me know how is RAID effected when both the HArd disk is taken out of the server. I am pretty new to RAID.Thanks in advance.

Regardless of your current problem/solutions...

You should at least put RAID 1 on there (mirroring). Better yet, fork out another couple hundred and add a 3rd drive and put on RAID 5.

You are taking big chances with your current setup. I especially hope you don't have one volume spanned across both drives. That can get ugly when trying to do an upgrade.

Do I loose the Information if I take the drives out from the bay.

ooh yes especially as said above if they are spanned

you need to find out what is on each disk - ie what partitions and what volumes

i wouldnt use ghost no matter what
