Can anyone provide me with info on r10 admin restrictions
It has been brought to my attention that on r10 station and trunk admin is governed by Avaya is there any truth to this ?? Thanks

My permission levels did not change when we went to R10. -CL

Station, Trunk and System maintenance permissions are options that can be enabled for Customer logins. There is a cost to activate them from Avaya, and you must be under warranty or have a maintenance contract. With these permissions active you have the same level as an Avaya Technician. Hope this helps

Thanks

Chris

Be aware that your sales rep MUST now order those options. In the pre-R10 world, when your Maintenance Contract and Maintenance Permissions forms were signed, Avaya could dial in and turn them on. With R10, those options must appear on your order so they will be included in the Licence File. The Licence File is what activates and deactivates features now, not the "init" login.
