I am using Win2K Advance server with failover clustering system.I have a MSDE installation in the one of the node an I want to install SQL Server 2000 to the cluster system. But I want to use the data which created with MSDE in the SQL Server. Is that possible or shall I firstly remove MSDE from system and then install SQL server to the cluster?

Thanks

You can attach all the MSDE databases in SQL Server after installing it. You'll probaly want (need) to uninstall MSDE but make sure you keep all of the database files for later attaching in SQL Server. Attaching and Detaching in SQL Books Online. Terry L. Broadbent - DBA
