Upgrade Advantage? OK here’s the deal. I have reports in version 9 and I would like to convert them back to version 8.5. I do not know if this can be done but if anybody knows of a way or a utility that can do this please let me know. My bad. I should have researched a little more before upgrading. You would assume though, upgrading would give you more, not less. Mike

I am curious as to why you are switching back as I am considering an upgrade to 9 - basically forced by crystal decisions.

Some of the report designer component functions have been disabled in version 9. You can buy additional licensing for around $200/end user. If you are not using the Report Creation API’s there should not be any restrictions on you. I guess it is just a little irritating to me that I paid for the developer edition and the upgrade advantage option and end up with less. Mike

I'm sure; researching the options has been pretty overwhelming to me, so I am just hoping for the best at this point. I'm afraid I don't have an answer for you...but I couldn't help but inquire. Hope it turns out ok!
