Upgraded from 8.0 to 8.1 now system down saying Advanced License Dormant because preferred license it depends on is not existent. Was working perfect before upgrade.

Upgrade 8.0 to 8.1 - Advanced License Dormant

Yes, Avaya being the money grabbing scumbags they are decided that having a virtual essential edition licence (generated by a prev upgrade) is not good enough to upgrade to 8.1, so if you want to upgrade to 8.1 you also need to buy the actual essential edition licence.....sad but true

Any quick instructions on how to downgrade?
it really helps to read the tech bulletins for the realease before upgrading.
CCR might run without downgrading on the R8.0 again as it is just getting all the data from the IPO but there might also be data not coming on R8.0 that it needs. Hit and miss really.
