Using QuarkXPress 4.11 in a Mac OS, I am wondering if there is a faster way to change all the JPG graphics I currently have in my document to TIFFs rather then having to get the picture each time.

I see no way, for instance, to update them in Usage>Picture. Is there a way to do this through some sort of action or something?

One other thing to keep in mind that may affect the ability to do this: For each picture I am using a Runaround setting of Auto Image with an 8pt. Outset.

Thanks,

This probably answers my own question: Rename the folder (now with the TIFF formatted images) to break the link with Quark (missing images). Now they will update as TIFFs.

...and if they don't have a file extension (ie, the file name remains the same), you can set Auto Picture Import under Edit > Preferences > Document. Not that I'd encourage people to omit the file extensions, but sometimes it can be handy...
