Updating report with Excel

I have a very simple report based on the data from an Excel worksheet. I created the report several weeks ago and have since added a number of items to the excel worksheet. When I refresh the changes do not appear. I have a feeling that the probelm is due to the worksheet using linked fields. Basically I have 9 worksheets and a final "ALL" worksheet that includes the data from the worksheets by linked fields. Simply a copy and "paste link" setup.

Is there a way to get the report to update correctly or will I need to re-create the report?

Tried that first. Didn't change the data. Actually, what's interesting is the record count changes but the report data that displays does not change. Hmm. I'll revists this on Monday with a clear head.
