updates for Visual fox pro 3.0

Okay I know that this is old but I am just trying out my visual fox pro 3.0 (I have visual fox pro 5.0 and I will be purchasing visual fox pro 7.0 sometime in the next few months). Can anyone here tell me where I can download any updates for visual fox pro 3.0?

The best advice for VFP 3.0 (since you have v5) is Throw It Away! VFP3 was barely workable: Unstable and MUCH TOO SLOW. I think it is because of all the 16 bit Thunking code it used to be compatible with Win 3.1. v5 added so many useful features it's not worth figuring out (now) how to do windows VFP code in v3.

As far as I remember, the two updates for VFP 3.0 - 3.0a, 3.0b were only available directly from Microsoft. You had to call them with your registration number, your credit card (they only charged for shipping and handling ~$10), and you'd get a new install CD in a couple weeks.

I believe this procedure was discontinued ~ '98.
