Hello, I have a form created from the bs_loc table. It holds all the data for the unique stop locations (more than 5,500). Locations are used by more than one STOP.

When any field on the form is edited, I would like to have another form pop up after selecting update, showing all the related Stops for the location number then ask the user to confirm the update to all the locations or allow the user to make edits to the form. Is this procedure possible?

Hi

Sure is

Are you saying the update to the first form goes ahead anyway? if yes put code in the after update event of the control to open the other form (in dialog), see docmd.openform in help to get the syntax to open the form with a subset of the rcords available ie those stops relating to this record

Thanks KenReay

Yes, the form continues anyway.I am not a coder. Can you help me with the code? I can navigate to the after update events. I can create forms and use wizards well, but coding is different and I am learning.
