With all the wonderful updates that Microsoft is coming
out with, I find myself in a dilemma. I have a bunch of
servers in an AD integrated domain that have to be
updated. And rather than go to each individual server and
update them manually I was wondering if there was ways to
send the update package out to all the servers and have
them update themselves. I know about the utility in group
policy to send out the Microsoft installer package,
however all these updates come in the form of
executables. Is there an EASY way to create installer
packages from these exe files? Or is there another way to
have these servers update with as little help from me?
Thanks in advance!

Well, if you can wait a little bit, MS will soon be releasing the corporate version of Windows Update. You'll be able to assign a single server as the update master, which you can control. I'm not sure of the exact timeframe, so possibly some of the other techs can chime in...?

That sounds GREAT! Do you know what the name of the product will be? Is it just Windows Update Corporate?
