I have a small table that all the fields will be updated the first time a user enters data. Then only 3 fields will be updated from then on. I need to take the data entered on the first record, last 2 fields and have it autofill the rest of the records, no matter how many more records are added to the the table. Please help.

can you please elaborate a little bit more, if possible with some sample data.

The way you phrased your question so far leads to the need of two tables instead of one.

I have table Faxination1. It is used for about 1 to 5 minutes then through VBA code, sent in the body of an e-mail. The reset button on the form loads all of it's information into a history table and removes all records from the table. Faxination1 has 7 fields, The user will update the first record, by filling in all 7 fields then they will add another record and only fill in 5 of the fields. I need the 6th and 7th field to autopopulate with the information the user entered in the first record. The fields are Wire Center and Fax Time.

You may set the DefaultValue property of the 2 controls in the AfterUpdate event procedure of the form.

Hope This Helps, PH.
