Hello

I have just copied a new version of zip and unzip onto my Solaris box. They did not come with any man update pages. Can anyone tell me how I would update the man pages to reflect the newer versions of zip I have just installed?

Cheers.

Are you sure there are no man pages under /usr/local or wherever you installed the packages to?

It has been installed in /usr/bin and the version I downloaded didn't come with any man pages (though it did come with a zipinfo file).

I have no idea where you can find tha man files.
But you have to copy thos in /usr/share/man.
or you can set MANPATH variable

From `man man':

Location of Manual Pages
The online Reference Manual page directories are conventionally located in /usr/share/man.....
