Hello all,

Can we update dns dynamically without server reboot (on windows 2000)? Can we delete a dns entry from the list? Thanks

What do you mean update dns dynamically? You mean change DNS records? If so, then yes. You can also delete a DNS record without rebooting.

only flush the dns cache after changes. and thast it.

yep

ipconfig /flushdns & ipconfig /registerdns

or

net stop dnscache & net start dnscache & net stop dhcp & net start dhcp
