Up for a challenge??

Hi guys, I have a weird one that I need your thoughts on.

I am getting complaints from one of my people stating people are calling her "back" at her DID extension number. She never placed the call to them. I had her to start collecting the number(s) from the ones that are calling her. I ran this through my CAS and see where several other sets have called these people. Different numbers and areas of the hospital calling different people all outside callers. They say they have her number listed as a missed call. One was local call another LD so it's not how the call is routed out.

I listed the "li public" and not a single entry for that extension is listed. I also made a bridged appearance of one of the numbers that did make a call out to one of these folks. I called my cell from it (so far these all seem to be going to cell numbers) and the ANI was correct.

Any ideas???

My guess: Telemarketer masking their Caller ID and are using her number.

There's been a ton of telemarketing calls right now for a company trying to sell alarm systems.

Thanks Stinney and that was my first thought also. But then pulling up MicroCall reports showing where we did call these people has to make me wonder. I just found out these have also been calls coming into this lady from 911. I would guess that the that are truly placed from us to these people are legitimate calls.
