Hej

Does someone have a solution to these problems:
We have an Epo 3.0.2 SP1 server which we are going to upgrade to SP2. 1)The DAT files update succesful on the Epo server but the updates are not pushed on some of our computers even when they are switched on and running. 2)The other problem is when some new computers are configured and are running on the network, they are not recognised by the Epo server so as to send them, the Epo agent, even though they are in the already defined IP adresse range.
Thanks in advance

Hi,

We had the same problem. Mcfee support told us that we had two different epo agents on the PCs. Did you uninstall the old agents before sending out the new agents?

You need to uninstall epo agent then install the correct version of epo agent. They is article on nai knowledge base, on how to do this.

The other work around is to run the epo agent upgrade manually or you could create a msi file and use group policies in Active Directory.
