Hi,

I'm trying to run an unmatched query using Access 97.
I have successfully run one before, however this time i am getting an error : "ODBC -- call failed"
this link to the table is ok, as other queries work fine!
i have used the wizard as well so the code should be ok.
does anyone know of any other reason why i would get this error???????

Thanks

If you are using a linked table through your ODBC driver as soon as you get the error go back to the linked table and try to open it up. See if there really is a link for the query to use.

It sounds like the table that you are referencing cannot be connected to. Check the query ODBC properties to see if you have entered an ODBC connect string that has some problems.

Let me know if that helps. Sometimes you just have to work through these kind of problems in a trial and error manner. Bob Scriver
