Unknown accounts on ISA 2004

I am having Userenv ID 1053 errors in my application log on my ISA 2004 proxy server. There are 2 accounts in the user profiles that are account unknowns. I was considering unjoining the server from the domain, and putting it back as a possible resolution to the problem. Can I do this, or will I have problems with ISA and perhaps SurfControl--both of which are using an MSDE database. Maybe someone has seen this, or has an idea on how to fix this. What I do know is that the server is not able to establish an RPC connection with the domain controller, and thus will not apply any Group Policy. Any help would be appreciated. Thansk
