Hi,
A weird thing has happened with our Exchange 5.5 system (2 servers in 1 site).
In the permissions tab of every mailbox under the "Windows NT accounts with permissions" section, a new entry has appeared called "Unknown Account". The account has "Custom" permissions. 'Modify User Attributes' and 'Send As' are the permissions the account has.
Where has this account come from? Why is it there for EVERY mailbox?
Hope somebody can help with this.

Rob.

Haven't seen anything like that but by any chance has anyone been running any of the prep steps for a conversion to Exchange 2000 or a Domain upgrade to Active Directory?
