I am attemtping to restore one file on a Unix Server. The file was backed up within a saveset, sized @ 1.284 TB. The backup has no errors. The tapes have no read errors. We've used two different sets of tapes.

The file is in the saveset. I've run the nsavetime command in conjunction with nsrinfo to get the contents of the saveset. this shows the file is there. I am also able to see it through the winworkr gui when browsing for that specific savetime.

We've run the restore 4 times using command line directly on the unix box.
Restore command used:
recover -S 2684322238 -s mfxrkeleg01 -d /full_backup01/clmsprod/fiscal/recover /full_backup01/clsmprod/fiscal/20070822_KEEP/183614.gz

the restore takes off and reads the tapes sequentially as designed, but returns no files when completed.

Other than running the restore from the GUI on the networker server, I don't know what other options I have.

Is this possibly because the file is in a saveset of this size?

Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance for taking your time to answer this post.

Resolution: client provided incorrect file name; once correct file name and extension were provided, restore was successful.
