Unity Connection 10.5 Bulk Admin

I've been playing around with unity connection bulk admin. I export a csv file so I have the correct format and add new users to that exported file (after deleting existing users). Couple of things - is there nowhere to specify a template or voicemail PIN? Or does each user need to be touched for a PIN reset? If that's the case, what is really the difference between that an importing an LDAP user?

when you import the csv file you can apply it against a subscriber template which should have a known default pswd already.
Same goes for importing from LDAP. There's a tab that you can apply a template before importing.
