Unique Criteria Search Problem

I have a front sheet with some names on it, and I have created a control box for the user to pick a name. I then have a macro which grabs that name and does a criteria search for some data on another sheet based on Name and date. However, if for that date, the name picked has no entries, my macro crashes, is there someway to overcome this.
