What is the best way in opinion to delete Windows 2000 as part of a dual boot partition off my hard drive so that I can install Windows XP instead?? I don't want to completely format everything right now??

Uninstalling Windows 2000

You should reformat the partition that has the operating system on it that you wish to replace. You need not reformat any other partitions so which ever operating system you are dual booting with will still be intact.
