I have win2k pro installed twice on my harddrive because i had to replace a corrupted file in the original version. Now i have replaced it and my original version of win2k pro now works. I don't want the 2nd version i recently installed anymore. How do i uninstall it?

i installed into another folder --> winnt2 on the same drive.

You could just delete the Winnt2 Folder. Then go into the
Boot.ini and delete the second reference to Win2k Pro.

Boot.ini is a hidden, system file in the root of C: drive. It can be edited in Notepad [NOT in Wordpad]. Make a backup copy first. And you'll need to go to Tools, Folder Options, View tab and change some entries to Show Hidden Files. May want to show file extensions, also.

Or you can go to Start, Run and type in: notepad c:\boot.ini.
